My goal is to a develop chimeric antigen receptor T cells as a safe and effective therapy for AML. To this end, I am exploring different target antigens for CAR T cell therapy, investigating mechanisms to enhance the anti-tumor effect of CAR T cells, and finding methods to circumvent the toxicity associated with T cell immunotherapy in the setting of myeloid malignancies.
