- Breast cancer
My research interest is in older women with breast cancer. I have completed several projects identifying differences in biology of breast cancer in older adults as well as toxicity profiles of therapeutic drugs in older adults. I participate in the Cancer and Aging Research Group (CARG) and serve as a panel member on the NCCN Older Adult Oncology Subcommittee. I have applied for funding for projects furthering the research in older adults and received a CARG pilot grant examining social support in older adults with cancer. I see patients with breast cancer at the Siteman Cancer Center West County Campus and Center for Advanced Medicine.
