Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis has received a $10.8 million, five-year grant from the National Cancer Institute to continue its Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE) in leukemia, one of only two such programs nationwide. This grant supports cutting-edge translational research that moves lab discoveries to clinical care and is part of the institution’s broader leadership in cancer research, which also includes SPOREs in endometrial and pancreatic cancers. Siteman Cancer Center, a key partner, offers patients access to innovative therapies and expert care, reinforcing its role as a national leader in comprehensive cancer treatment.
