I am interested in molecular genetics computational genomics in cancer. My current research is focused on understanding clone fitness in the evolution of clonal cytopenias of uncertain significance (CCUS), the role of splicing factors in CCUS and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), and the relationship between complex genotypes and cell fitness in CCUS and MDS. My work leverages analysis of serial whole genome sequencing of samples from a large cohort of patients and CRISPR-based genetic modeling in human hematopoietic cell models to address these questions.
