Research

I am an early-career clinician-scientist dedicated to advancing the field of cancer genetics, with a particular focus on hereditary predisposition to hematologic malignancies. By integrating clinical investigation and human genomics, my work seeks to discover novel mechanisms of inherited susceptibility to cancer and translate these findings into meaningful advances in risk assessment, early detection, surveillance, and treatment. To this end, my research program focuses on three complementary areas of investigation: 1) Advancing detection and characterization of germline susceptibility to hematologic malignancies; 2) Identifying and defining novel cancer predisposition syndromes using advanced genomic technologies; and 3) Developing early detection and risk reduction strategies for patients with cancer predisposition syndromes.
