The CheckPoints, a cover band of immunotherapy all-stars, has become a mainstay at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting. Comprised of luminaries in the field of cancer immunotherapy, The CheckPoints perform modern and classic rock hits. Led by Dr. Thomas Gajewski, the band features renowned scientists like Dr. Patrick Hwu, Nobel Prize winner James Allison, and Dr. Jedd Wolchok. Dr. Russell Pachynski, Associate Professor of Medicine, plays trombone in the band. Their repertoire includes Fleetwood Mac, Nirvana, and Meghan Trainor.
